The lovely Sally contacted me as she wanted a shoot to capture her in her new team gear having secured a place on the Hong Kong Equestrian Team. We decided to split the shoot into two, with the first half focussing on curating beautiful memories of her with her horses and then the other half with professional marketing images to attract new sponsors and leave her with endless content for her social media!
She has three stunning dressage horses, Falcon, Poppy and Olive. I spent far too much time giving them cuddles, and nearly bought Poppy (who is for sale) because she was just so gorgeous! Unfortunately, she wouldn’t fit in my car…
There was a slight issue at the start of the shoot when she realised her Dad had driven off with her ankle boots leaving her with no shoes to wear! Fortunately, I always carry a few spare outfit options in my car so a crisis was averted!
We utilised the stable area for most of the shoot, but also took to the lane outside the yard, picking up the bright red berries to complement Sally’s fab metallic-red Superdry jacket.
Next Sally got super smart in her dressage gear and Hong Kong Team kit. We made sure to include Sally’s favourite pairs of beautiful Joshua Jones boots and highlight her sponsors, Spillers.
Sally was so much fun to spend a morning with, she clearly has a wonderful connection with her horses and has produced them beautifully. I am so excited to see where her dressage career takes her next!
