It was a misty morning when I went to visit Megan at her family home in Allington. She is so lucky to have her two gorgeous eventers, Music and Guinness, based at home, so close you can see them from the garden (my absolute dream!).
Music is a stunning bright bay, thoroughbred who Megan has had for 10yrs.
She previously had a photoshoot with him 5yrs ago so this was a great time to capture how much they have grown together.
Guinness is gorgeous dark bay 8yr old Irish Sports Horse who totally knew a camera was pointed at him, growing in size and giving us his best angles! He is Megan’s project horse, aiming to compete to Novice/Intermediate in 2022.
Megan had the most beautiful wardrobe for our shoot together. She is sponsored by The Tweed Boutique and Ella & Cherry who very kindly donated some items for the shoot plus has the most fantastic collection of Fairfax & Favor tassels to go with her gorgeous boots. She also has the most amazing rapunzel hair, which totally completed the look of country style icon!
Megan’s Mum was our fantastic assistant on the day, I always say to bring a friend or family member to assist on the day of your shoot. Not only are they helpful to carry outfits, hold horses and get ears forward, I find my clients tend to relax a lot more when they have someone they know. That way they can then just focus on enjoying time with their horse.
Both Music and Guinness absolutely loved spending time just cuddling with their mum, it was so easy for me to quietly click away capturing these special moments.
