This was such a special shoot for me as it was of my lovely friend Jen and her gorgeous mare Cali. Jen is a local eco artist, creating wonderful watercolour animals with their own individual personalities. With the bluebells in full force it was the perfect time to have a spring time photoshoot. The location for the shoot was through the woods past the Tunnel House Inn in Coates, Cirencester. We were spoilt for choice with sunlight filtering through the trees, old Cotswold stone walls and a carpet of bluebells covering the ground. Cali was quickly encouraged to show her best side with a few polos and immediately the connection between her and Jen was evident.
It was very easy to capture gorgeous photos as Jen and Cali were so attuned to one another that they needed very little direction and I just got to sit back and click! We walked through the forest, doing some ridden and in hand shots, with Jen’s backpack it made it look like her and Cali were off on a wonderful adventure!
