With the lockdown restrictions somewhat eased, my friend Jen Winnett and I undertook a socially distanced photoshoot in West Woods, Wiltshire. I would not normally be undertaking any shoots at this stage but having worked with Jen before and being a personal friend of mine I trusted that we could uphold the necessary precautions to make sure we were both safe.
The bluebells were still in great form and the woodland offered the perfect backdrop for Jen’s nature inspired and eco-conscious products. Our assistants for the day were Penny and Willow, who spent the vast majority of their time running round the forest and not really being that helpful!
The changing light coming through the trees offered challenges but also great opportunities for photos bathed in sunlight or softened by clouds.
