It was bright, intense sunshine for my shoot with Laura and her two wonderful horses Rainbow and Jinx.
Laura had a fantastic location, with Cotswold stone barns and golden rapeseed fields for us to play in! It was such an idyllic setting, especially since the horse’s stables were literally across the drive from Laura’s cottage. How special must it be to wake up every morning and see your horses outside your window?
I always say that everyone is invited to your photoshoot and this shoot was no exception, with Laura’s two cats and adorable 12 week old Springer Spaniel puppy Dizzie joining us! He was surprisingly well behaved for his age and we got some utterly adorable shots of him plus horses and on his own for Laura to remember this special time when he is so little!
The connection and love Laura has with all of her animals is so clear to see, especially with Rainbow and Jinx, riding bareback through the fields, completely relaxed and in tune with each other. They both did so well despite the incredibly tempting Spring grass proving to be a tasty distraction!
